Finding the right support can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to make the process as simple and supportive as possible. Support is provided one step at a time. There is no obligation to continue at any point.

Most families begin with a Discovery Session followed by an initial series of 2–4 Support Sessions. A Review Session provides an opportunity to reflect on progress, discuss next steps and determine whether any ongoing support would be beneficial.

Getting Started

Before We Begin - Free 15 Minute Phone Consultation Free
Step 1 - Discovery Session (45 minutes) $90
This is a 'parent only session', together we explore your child's story, potential or known barriers and begin developing a personalised plan.
Step 2 - Personalised Support Sessions (45 minutes each) $135 each
Every young person is different, however most families find that 2–4 Support Sessions after the Discovery Session provides a strong foundation for understanding barriers, developing practical strategies and planning next steps. Support is tailored to each student's individual needs, interests and goals. These involves 1:1 interactive student sessions that may include: identifying barriers to school engagement and understanding what's getting in the way, building emotional awareness, developing executive functioning skills, building confidence, exploring sensory needs, problem solving and developing practical strategies, literacy assessment, assistance with school transistions and / or goal setting. No two support sessions are exactly the same.
Step 3 - Review and Recommendations (45 minutes) $90
Usually another 'parent only' session. At the completeion of the initial support phase, we'll review your young person's progress. You'll recieve personalised recommendations and togther we'll decide if further support would be beneficial.
Home Visit
While most families attend sessions at my Frankston consulting room, home visits can be arranged where they are likely to provide significant benefit to the student or family (up to 20kms of Frankston). As home visits require additional travel time, an additional fee applies. Fees will be communicated prior to booking.
NDIS
Gray Matters welcomes self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Services are delivered where they align with a participant's NDIS goals and are generally provided under the Capacity Building support category. A Service Agreement and invoices aligned with the relevant NDIS support item can be provided for eligible participants. If you're unsure whether my services are suitable for your child's plan, please get in touch and I'd be happy to discuss your individual circumstances.
